I happy to tell you that I am feeling slightly better today. I had a rough weekend, but I think it is over soon. I just sometimes feel a little useless.. or I don't know but I am feeling better today. I went to the meeting; but we didnt' stay the whole meeting. I had asked Joel to change into his meeting pants and then I was getting Mia dressed; meanwhile Joel didnt' change; but I never looked down to see until we were at the meeting. So short story short; Joel had a stain on his pants so I was a bit embarrassed! So anyway, we're gonna be okay. I went to value village today with the half off sale and found at least four gymbo clothes.. I am so impressed with myself! That laways puts me in a better mood

new arrival
Alison Nathalie Ruggles arrived yesterday night at 6.39 pm; she came into the world at 19 inches and 6 lbs 8 oz. Her mother Abby pushed her into the world naturally with no epidural or pain medication. She used her water tub provided to her by the hospital. Her Doula Jamie was very helpful; but help aslo arrived from a great nurse that rubber her feet and back and taught us laboring with her where to push on her back. It was so amazing. Alisons' four aunts and her grandma 'Judy' were there to watch the spectacular event along with very helpful 'daddy' Don Ruggles. Don Ruggles told his wife 'You did such a great job honey; I could never do such an amazing thing'.. Grandma Linda is coming from Ohio on Tuesdayhe doesn't know many people that have had a natural birth besides his mother; and he was very proud of her for succeeding. is another thing that Don said to Abby. Birth was fairly not as bad as expected until transition; while Abby handled the first part okay; she had a rough going towards the end. Everyone was so proud of her; she never once asked for an epidural or pain meds. She did 'mention' that this would be a good time to stop and she would have liked to taken a break, but the doctors' and nurses didn't let her stop. Little Alison swallowed some amniotic fluid on her way out and her lungs were full when she was delivered, but that was quickly fixed and in no time at all her bright beautiful eyes were open for all to see. Aunt Jessie stayed the night as a nurse maid. More info and pics later.

A baby today?
I believe its' go time today. Abby labored all night and went to the hospital this morning; so far.. as soon as she arrived at the hospital her contractions slowed down; but, I believe that that is fairly common because of nerves, etc.. she has been admitted and they are walking the halls for an hour to calm Abbys' nerves; she is at 3 and a half cm dilated and 85 percent effaced at this point and the baby is at 0 position. So, let's get a move on peoples :) I will update when I have a computer. :)
